These winter wonderland bedroom decorating ideas are easy to create and will add holiday joy to your decorations. If you love farmhouse country style then you will love this inspiration.
“Winter wonderland bedroom” best describes Savanna's bedroom for this Christmas. As many of you know, we live in Florida so a majority of the time we don't get snow.
But what better way to get that snowy white feeling than to create it in our Christmas decor?
WINTER WONDERLAND BEDROOM
When Savanna first started searching for ideas on Pinterest, we noticed that she was gravitating towards farmhouse style photos that were filled with frosty white themes. It didn't take us long to figure out her style.
After searching through our Christmas decor boxes and picking up a few items we were able to complete the look in one day with vignettes of holiday cheer around the room.
CHRISTMAS BED DECORATING IDEAS
Since the bed is the largest piece in her room, we focused on its design first. We started with her pillow because it is the inspiration piece in the room.
The snowy outdoor scene on the pillow gently whispers winter wonderland.
Surprisingly, she decided on a red sweater throw. I would have guessed she would have gone with white because it fits the winter wonderland theme more but what says Christmas more than red?
And to finish the look a simple white wooden tray, mason jar mug with a leather koozie, and delicious goodies to mix it all up just right.
REINDEER HEAD MOUNT HOLIDAY DECOR
Simplicity also takes place in Savanna's room. When you have a small space it's good to keep things organized and straightforward. In this case, she decided that keeping the reindeer by himself on the wall would make him stand out more.
Who needs to add more stuff when this adorable reindeer speaks for himself?
NUTCRACKER AND OWL NIGHTSTAND CHRISTMAS DECOR
Savanna's bedside lamp is a white owl but who would have thought he would be perfect for the holiday design? This owl lamp reminds us of the owls from Harry Potter. There are so many favorite holiday movies, and Harry Potter is one. But the Nutcracker is what makes this whole nightstand.
Isn't he adorable?!!
We found a small unfinished one to nestle next to her clock, lamp, and journal.
SNOWY WHITE GRAPEVINE WINTER WREATH
When my daughter showed me a grapevine wreath like this one on the internet, I thought this would be easy and inexpensive.
Simply purchase a vine wreath that will fit over your word art and a can of snow spray. Spray your wreath and let it dry then attach it to your art with some twine by looping it over the back.
Now keep in mind that this snow spray won't last forever, but it should last through this Christmas season.
RED SWEATER CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS
What's a Christmas design without some stockings?
We just happened to have these red stockings for Stinkerbelle, our cat, and Eugene, our floppy-eared bunny, so they were perfect for Savanna's decor. She already had this clock and hooked wall hanging, so it was the ideal spot for our fur babies stockings.
NATURAL CHRISTMAS TREE
This winter wonderland bedroom design started with a photo of a room and a Charlie Brown kind of tree. Lucky for us we have family in the nursery business, so a call to our cousin and he came up with this precious little tree.
Savanna already had the pot in her room which typically holds her straightening irons and brushes, but it was the perfect fit for the base of this tree.
No decorations needed for this classic tree!
FLOCKED CHRISTMAS GARLAND WITH LIGHTS AND SNOW
To end our tour of the winter wonderland bedroom we just had to add some warm incandescent Christmas lights, garland, and some more snow.
We happened to have some old garland in the attic, so we added some lights and gave it a good snow spray as we used earlier. Then we merely draped it over the mirror, added a humble white farmhouse and the room was almost complete.
HANGING CHRISTMAS SWEATER
I almost forgot!
Savanna has a hook on her closet door so just to add one more little detail to her plan, she placed a red sweater on the outside of her door. You know the best designs are in the details and I think Savanna has caught on pretty quickly to that lesson.
