DIY Farmhouse Flower Vase (April)

farmhouse vase diy

This is one of our more challenging projects to make, but if you don't want to make the frame, then grab these adorable apple juice jars and make an arrangement for the spring.

Shop Supplies:

To purchase the Martinelli glass jars, check your local Whole Foods or tape Martinelli apple juice jars to purchase online.

If you are considering purchasing a brad nailer instead of the hammer and finish nails, here is the one I use. I have been surprised at how many projects I could use this nailer.

President's Silhouette (July)

Silhouettes are so fun to decorate within your home. So why not have Washington, Jefferson, and Lincoln as your patriotic decor? Here are the supplies needed for this do-it-yourself summer project.

Shop Supplies:

Now you need the silhouettes to cut out. To get access to my free resources simply tap president silhouettes and then go to the summer section under American patriotic presidents.

Dried Orange Slices (August)

How to dry orange slices

There are so many different ways you can decorate your home for summer with dried orange slices. This DIY is great for other holidays too especially Christmas. So after the summer is over save your orange slices in a ziplock bag and store them in a dry cool space.

Shop Supplies:

If you want your orange slices to come out a bright orange color, use a dehydrator. I have a dehydrator listed above. If you plan to use your oven, leave the dehydrator off your shopping list. The oven makes a beautiful amber color orange.

Wheat Wreath (September)

Now all you need is the paper leaf template. Simply subscribe to Life on Summerhill to have access to all my freebies. This template is under the fall section.
