EASTER BASKET IDEAS YOUR PEEPS ARE SURE TO LOVE

I love this time of year!  Flowers blooming, sunny days and Easter is on its way!  Which is why I wanted to do something special for all my readers and share some of my favorite Easter basket ideas.

Now that the spring decorating is done it is time to think about the Easter baskets.  Even though my girls are almost grown, I still love making Easter baskets for them.  Today they still get the usual holiday treats but I add more mature items in their baskets.

GIFT CARDS

You never know what you might get from the Easter bunny 😉 in the baskets.  But one thing for sure a gift card is an easy purchase.  Starbucks has the cutest spring and Easter cards out there.  I particularly thought this one was adorable!  It's going to make a great basket gift on Easter Sunday.

CD AND MOVIES

Another good idea for teens is CDs and movies.  If there is a new movie that has just come out and your child really loves it consider getting them the soundtrack or movie on DVD. I chose Moana CD for one daughter and Beauty and the Beast for the other.  They love Disney music!

CHOCOLATE BUNNY AND OTHER EASTER CANDIES

Every year I have to get a chocolate bunny to go in the basket and depending on each daughter there are other items that are traditional.  For example, Hannah's favorite is Peeps so it would not be Easter without putting some of those in her basket and of course, her sister will get some too.

TRUE MEANING OF EASTER

Easter wouldn't exist without Jesus.  You see Easter represents his resurrection. Luke 24  So I always want to include something that reminds us all of Him.  Sometimes I put small devotionals in there or jewelry with a cross.  Mainly if you celebrate the real meaning of Easter then look for something that reminds them of what it's all about.
