I love Easter just about as much as Christmas. I have always had a thing for bunny rabbits, and I love Jesus so it has come easily to me to decorate for Easter. Join me as I show you some Easter Home Decorations in our home.
Easter home decorations are probably the easiest holiday decor to achieve.
EASTER HOME DECORATIONS
Here are some simple tips and ideas to add some whimsy and color to your decor.
EASTER CENTERPIECE
There are so many fun things you can do when decorating for Easter. And the great part about this holiday is how inexpensive you can decorate.
Take, for example, this picture of my centerpiece on my dining table. I used a white ribbon plate, pie plate, blue and pink Easter grass, Cadbury Solid Milk Chocolate Bunny, glass eggs, I found these glass eggs at Dollar Tree and some white grosgrain ribbon.
It was so easy!
EASTER MANTLE GARLAND
So now that I have a centerpiece designed I decided it was time to go to my mantle. I love adding some holiday spirit to my mantle.
Last year I found this adorable bunny garland but as you can tell it is probably very easy to make. You simply need a burlap banner, fabric paint, 1/2″ white pom pom for the bunny tail and I would suggest cutting out a bunny shape on a silhouette.
EASTER CANDY BUNNY BOWL
Now I am going to share a secret. I love to look for each decor at TJMaxx and Homegoods. Every year I keep my eyes open for one more piece to add to my Easter decorations. This year I found this sweet bunny bowl.
My favorite candy is Robin Eggs so I thought they would look perfect in this bowl. I wasn't disappointed.
Check out the picture of my girls when they were young. They look like they wish they could have some of the candy in the new bowl. LOL!
EASTER EGG SILHOUETTE GARLAND
Back in February, I made a Valentine Doily Garland to go in my kitchen sitting area. I loved it so much until I decided to make an Easter one.
I own a silhouette which is one of the best purchases I have ever bought for my craft projects. I found these adorable egg designs on their website and cut them out on cardstock. I have to admit it took several hours to complete this project but it was worth it.
EASTER TABLE SETTING
This last part is not a decoration that sits around my house but is an idea to decorate your table for Easter day breakfast or dinner. I thought it would be fun to create a table setting for your family or guest.
Find a pink kitchen towel and either embroider or paint the persons initial on the end. Check out this pastel kitchen towel I found on Amazon as another option. I love it even more than the one I found locally. Then purchase each person a chocolate bunny.
I particularly liked the Cadbury Bunny, but there are so many to choose. Add some grass, and you have the easiest and cutest table setting ever.
What a surprise your family or guest will have when they arrive to see this.
Easter Wreath Ideas
Decorating with wreaths at Easter is another simple way to add cheer. Hang your wreath on a mirror, wall or front door.
I hung this bright and cheerful egg wreath on my mirror in my entryway. Placing a wreath in your entryway is a way to greet guests with your holiday decorations and it is the beginning of other decorations you have inside.
