What is Rae Dunn
Rae Dunn is a line of pottery that has become very popular across the nation.
You can find standard everyday items like mugs, plates and such but you can also find home accessories. Rae Dunn pottery is known for its imperfection and quality finish, and it makes a great collector's item.

Ask my friend Pam who has a beautiful collection of how fun it is to collect Rae Dunn.
Who is Rae Dunn
Rae Dunn is a native of California and currently lives in San Francisco. She studied industrial design and has worked in the design field for years. However, her love for clay has blossomed into the beautiful Rae Dunn line of pottery that we all know and love today.

Where to Buy Rae Dunn Pottery
So now for the fun part and that is shopping to add or create your own Rae Dunn collection.
After talking to some great collectors here is a list of the top four places to purchase Rae Dunn.
Products from Amazon.com
Rae Dunn TJ Maxx, Homegoods, and Marshalls
Let's start with the place that most Rae Dunners are most familiar with and that is TJ Maxx, Homegoods, and Marshalls.
From my experience, it is best to find out when these stores get in new items.
Then be at the door ready on the day they put out new stock. If you are first in the store, you have a better chance of getting the good Rae Dunn items.

I have heard that if you like the “long letter” style, then TJ Maxx is the place to shop.
Rae Dunn at Magenta Online
Magenta is a great online site that carries Rae Dunn pieces along with some other amazing and talented artist.
You will not find the “long letter” pieces on Magenta, but you will love the unique pottery items like this good kitty jar.
Rae Dunn on Amazon
Amazon is not my recommended first place to find a deal; however, I can say that those pieces that you cannot find will sometime pop up on Amazon.
And we all know if you are a prime member and if the item is prime then you can have it in two days for that party you are planning. 😉
Rae Dunn on Mercari
Now Mercari is a great place to shop around.
I have a friend who was head over heels for Rae Dunn, and Mercari was her place to shop.
Mercari is a selling app where people sell their Rae Dunn. Mercari is another excellent place to find that piece you have wanted for a long time to add to your collection.
Rae Dunn on eBay
And last shop around on eBay for Rae Dunn pottery and collector's items.
eBay is such a great place to shop for Rae Dunn pottery, and you can find some in Spanish too.
You can “buy it now” or bid on items to get a better deal.
You may even get that rare or unique piece at a better deal by bidding on a Rae Dunn piece.

Thank you so much for your time. I live in an area that has TJ Max, Home Goods and Marshals. I love Rae Dunn. The issue is… People line up outside of the doors to these three stores sometimes hours before the stores open. They buy all of the Rae Dunn on the shelves. I’ve been told they sell online. People like me work during the day. I never find Rae Dunn. I can buy Rae Dunn online and spend five times plus the cost. Where can I find Rae Dunn other than these three retailers?

I have heard that some areas have this issue and I am so sorry this is happening to you. I know some people have family who lives in parts of the country where it is not as popular and they pick up pieces at their TJ Maxx and ship them or collect them when they visit. I will keep thinking of other options and I will keep my ears open. If I hear anything I will send you a message.

I feel your pain this season I started to collect the xmas season ones and there was a guy every single day in line be for the store opened and had all the mugs…I can never find anything I been also trying on offerup but they double or triple the price on everything I been trying to look for the coffe canister and cant find it anywhere,
Online there selling it for 150
Linda McDonald says
Whoa! 150? That is crazy! I know some people that when they travel they hit up other TJ Maxx stores. Apparently, not all TJ Maxx stores sell out so fast. It is something to consider.

My daughter Kristen and her bestie Leigh collect in Alberta Canada and I’m wondering If other places that people on this site of yours shop.

That is a very good question. The only other place I find Rae Dunn is in little home accessory stores. Where do you have luck finding Rae Dunn in Canada?
