NEUTRAL BEDROOM DECOR AND MORE

Okay, so we have been talking a great deal about bedrooms lately because we have been going down the college dorm room checklist.

It doesn't matter if you're moving into a guys dorm room or shopping for girls dorm décor.

We had you covered.

But here are a few favorites that can go into any bedroom.

So what makes this duvet more special than others, you might be asking?

It is linen. This linen duvet has a great texture, and it is from Anthropologie, AND it is on sale.

Talk about a win-win!

It is the perfect start to a neutral bedroom decor concept.

One of my tricks to saving money when decorating is to balance out your decor with some high end and low end priced items.  This round sisal rug looks like a million bucks but is very reasonably priced.  Love!!!

Every bedroom designer will tell you that a bed needs an accent piece.

We shared Nest of Petal pillow in our dorm room checklist post, but you have to check out her Rae Dunn inspired pillows. ADORABLE!

This girl is looking for a fan because the one in the living room has cracked.  But since we have two in my living room, my bedroom one is moving to the living room, and now I am looking for one to go with my bedroom design.

I came across this windmill style fan and, well, it is super cool.  Pun intended!! Haha!

I have been thinking lately about minimizing and organizing the stuff in my home and life.  A seagrass basket bag has been on my radar.

There are two kinds I am looking at currently, and this is one.

I am thinking about using it for quick trips to the grocery store or just general shopping so I don't end up with a gazillion bags.

The other reason I like this one is because it has a shorter handle and it looks very cute.

Last of all these treasures is this brass sweet bunny hook.

My daughter Hannah purchased him years ago at Anthropolgie, and I couldn't believe that he is still available online.

He is such a classic, and he reminds us of Eugene, our rabbit, who also has long ears.

NETFLIX

Netflix Escape to the Continent

I love to watch tv series online.

Here is a great Netflix show that is currently my favorite show to watch.

Escape to the Continent is about people who are wanting to relocate to another part of the world, and these wonderful people help them search out a home in that new place.

The cool thing about the show is that it shows three or four houses (I love that part) and then some local flavor like what kinds of things are created in the area and/or types of dance and culture.

I just watched one where the couple was wanting to relocate to Croatia.  They took them to Dubrovnik, which is where I visited with my niece and her husband while they were living in Europe.

Talk about a dreamy place!!!

Check it out if you have Netflix and if you like watching this kind of stuff.

FRIDAY FEATURE

To end up all this fun I want to also share a special blogger that has inspired me in someway.  I want you to meet Lynsey with MoscatoMom.

Moscato Mom creator

The funny thing about her site is that she writes about the Keto diet but her blog name is MoscatoMom.  Isn't that funny!

She also writes about other things like travel. And, because she is a North Florida girl, she has some great posts if you are thinking about traveling to the panhandle beaches!

They are considered some of the most beautiful beaches in the south, or even the world.

I asked Lynsey what her most popular post is, and she said Keto Peanut Butter Cookies.

Why am I not surprised?

If someone said I could eat a cookie on a diet I would be all for that diet.

So here is my friend Lynsey who I met after my very first blogging conference on a video conference call. We have encouraged and challenged each other every week since 2016.

I would honestly say she is one of a hand full of people who are the reason why my blog is where it is today.

Hop over to her beautiful website or her social and say hi and try out some of those delicious recipes.

CONCLUSION

Well, I hope you have enjoyed my first Friday Favorites from trending neutral bedroom decor finds to television shows.  If you have any thoughts on what you would like to see, drop a comment below.
