We thought it would be fun to show you home decor yarn projects today. They are sweet to decorate your home with and are simple one day projects that you're sure to enjoy. You won't believe how many different types of home decor you can make with yarn. Using yarn is a great way to make affordable and unique home decor. We will see home décor projects such as chandeliers, yarn wall hangings, garlands, rugs and yarn wreaths. All made from yarn!
DO I NEED TO CROCHET OR KNIT TO MAKE HOME DECOR YARN PROJECTS?
Are you feeling a little anxious with the thoughts that if the project includes yarn, you'll need to know how to crochet or knit? No need to feel that way at all! DIY yarn decor is easier than you think. No matter your skill level, you will find a DIY yarn art project you'll love. And each project comes with great tips.
Almost all of these projects don't even require a sewing needle. It's a wonderful way to make fun crafts without having to master a new skill. So let's get started with our first home decor yarn project.
DIY TASSEL MACRAME CHANDELIER
On the blog Megan Bell Made, Megan shows you how you can make this DIY tassel macrame chandelier.
You only need a few simple items. A couple of different sizes of wood hoops, some twine, a light kit, some chain and don't forget the light bulb!

TASSEL PILLOW COVER
Christina, over at The DIY Mommy, made these adorable tassel pillow covers.
They do require a little sewing, but once you have this project done, you'll find yourself wanting to make different pillow covers for a new look often.
The tassels are such a fun accessory to add to a pillow!
HOW TO MAKE A WOOD BEAD GARLAND & TASSEL

That's just what Jenn & Vicki, over at 2 Bees In A Pod, did in their post How To Make A Wood Bead Garland & Tassel.

DIY JUTE TASSEL ON A BEAD GARLAND
Our friend Laura, over at The Turquoise Home, made this DIY jute tassel on a bead garland.
All you need are three items. The wooden beads, jute twine and scissors. Talk about an easy project with big results.

DIY DREAMCATHER WITH TASSELS AND RIBBON
This stunning DIY dreamcatcher with tassels and ribbon is a knock off of an Urban Outfitters item. It's great when you find an item you just love and can save some money making it on your own.

Elise and Emma, over at A Beautiful Mess, invited a guest, Sarah Sherman Samuel to write on their blog how to make this breathtaking cotton piping and copper pipe DIY wall hanging.
The different textures in this wall hanging make it a statement piece for sure. This would look amazing in a living room or dining room.
ROPE & STRING RAINBOW WALL DECOR PROJECT
Isn't this so much fun? This rainbow wall hanging would be lovely in so many rooms, but we instantly imagined it in a nursery. You can use various colors depending on the chosen color scheme. It would make the perfect baby shower present and who doesn't love a handmade item.
Deborah, from Pure Sweet Joy, takes her time to show how to make this sweet rope and string rainbow wall decor project. It looks like one of those projects you could work on while watching your favorite Netflix show.

POM POM LAYERED GARLAND
Here is on of my favorite easy yarn crafts. This garland is a breeze to make. The pom pom garland is just one layer in this garland and although we used it as part of Valentine decor, it's a great go-to layer to add to a garland for any occasion. You can use a pom pom maker but I'm going to show you how to make you own pom poms without one. This is an easy craft you can do with your kids.
HOW TO MAKE A POM POM YARN RUG

There are so many places we can imagine this cutie going. Can't you see it in a bathroom, or in a child's room or even in a kitchen! What yarn color scheme would you choose?
HOW TO MAKE A RUG WITH TASSELS
We shared how to make a rug with tassels and all you need is a bleached drop cloth, heat and bond, some different colors of yarn, and everything else you'll have at home already. You can make really pretty colorful yarn tassels.
The best part about this project, is that you can change the colored tassels out to match the season or holiday. It's the perfect way to make a great first impression.
DIY MACRAME MASON JAR CANDLE HOLDER
You'll only be able to make a simple knot when you make this DIY macrame mason jar candle holder. This is one of my favorite yarn crafts, it's so versatile.
Any time is the perfect time for this macrame mason jar candle holder. It started as part of our Christmas decor, but by simple removing the little gingerbread man wreath, it is now a beautiful part of our everyday decor.
MACRAME PLANT HOLDER PROJECT
By taking the same idea as the candle holder, you can make this beautiful macrame plant holder. You just need to swap out the mason jars for your favorite little pot.
