Sometimes when you write a post, you discover some pretty fabulous finds. This week I have some garden party essentials to go with all the outdoor party decoration ideas from our last post. Plus some fun and unique treasures too.
To start this garden party essentials event let's begin in the kitchen.
Here is a secret of mine: I can decorate all day long, but I am not the best at cooking.
However, I adore using vintage or old kitchen utensils as decorations. Don't be fooled by this rolling pin and whisk because they are very very large. They actually hang on your wall as decorations.
They would make a cute gallery wall in a kitchen along with some of Grandma's recipe cards framed on display.
So now that your kitchen is styled adorably let's bring this party outside.

GARDEN PARTY ESSENTIALS
While searching the web for inspiration for the event planning checklist, I came across this sweet little salt and pepper shaker. I knew the minute I saw it that I had to share it with all of you.
Wouldn't this be the perfect addition to your elegant outdoor tablescape? I love that they are stacked.
And that crystal knob is the icing on the cake.
After you get your beautiful table decorations for your garden party, you will need something to bring the food from the kitchen to the table.
This lovely copper tray has elegance written all over it. It will be perfect.
Every party needs flowers, and peonies are perfect for spring and summer garden party essentials.
Now, this French Stripe tablecloth is for all the farmhouse, cottage, vintage, french country lovers.
This tablecloth is perfect!
It has a simple vintage feel with a sweet touch of blue. It would make the best background for some beautiful pattern dishes.
Don't be surprised if you see this in one of my future posts. LOL!
Oh my goodness! Isn't this absolutely adorable! I actually threw this one in at the last minute because I couldn't resist.
This would make the perfect Thanksgving garden party essentials.
While antiquing with my daughter, Hannah, I found a German Springerle rolling pin, and it came home with me. I have my great grandmother's rolling pin and thought, “Wouldn't this be cute in a crock or something with my grandma's rolling pin?”
But here is my idea for your outdoor dinner party. There are many Springerle recipes on Pinterest, and if you get a patterned rolling pin like this one to roll out the pattern, those would be the most special cookies ever to serve your guests.
PS, there are YouTube videos, too, on how to make them.
AMAZON PRIME DAY
Last year was the first year I was aware of Amazon Prime Day. This year I am a little more prepared for all the great deals and hopefully get half of my Christmas shopping done in July.
There were so amazing deals last year that I missed because, honestly, I had no idea it was Black Friday in July.
MAGNOLIA MAY COTTAGE
Every Friday when I share my favorites, I get the honor to bring to you an exceptional blogger. This week I want you to meet Megan with Magnolia May Cottage.
Megan has the most peaceful and sweet simple style farmhouse. She is a mother of two daughters, a wife and a disciple of Jesus. She believes that home “doesn't have to be about perfect and polished pieces.”
Doesn't she sound like someone you would like to visit?
Recently, I was invited to be apart of a group of home decor Instagrammers. This group is where I met Megan and discovered her gorgeous feed and blog.
So this week when I was trying to decide who to share, she kept coming back to my mind and heart. The funny thing about this story is that after I reached out to her with the invitation to share her blog, I discovered that she just created it weeks ago.
Please give her blog some love by visiting. I promise you won't be disappointed because it will make you smile. And give her a follow on Instagram where you will get loads of fresh ideas.
Here's a sneak peek into one of her blogs that I love. I am a mother of two daughters, who are grown now, so I can completely resonate with what she is talking about in her post “A Mostly White House with Toddlers.”
Well, I hope you have enjoyed today's garden party essentials post and are leaving with some great finds.
However, the fun doesn't stop here because I am super excited to share a wonderful artist named Anita Martinez. She is truly talented in the art of charcoal and ink. To make this even sweeter she has offered to GIVEAWAY one of her original peony charcoal and ink pieces like this one in the photo.
Plus I am throwing in a $25 Target gift card, too. Talk about a win win! If you win her gorgeous original piece of art you can then use the gift card to purchase a frame for it.
Simply follow the directions in the Rafflecopter below to enter. All three steps are mandatory in order to qualify. The contest ends 7/19/2018 at 11:59pm EST. All the steps are mandatory.
