In our house, we love decorating with fresh flowers so knowing the best places to buy flowers is important. But knowing the cheapest places to buy flowers is even more important if you need many flowers. Today I am sharing my secret on the best places to get flowers for beautiful floral arrangements and amazing centerpieces.

Knowing the best places to buy flowers can make all the difference when creating beautiful arrangements. So, I wanted to share some popular places to buy flowers.

There is something about fresh flowers that brightens a room. If you are having a down day just pick up some flowers and use them for decorations. I promise it will make you feel better.

Or if you need a centerpiece, flowers can be showstopping. So let's jump into my favorite places to buy flowers.

Trader Joes

Probably my favorite of all places to purchase flowers are grocery stores. So my first suggestion is Trader Joe's. Did I mention we were going to talk about where to buy the cheapest flowers?

Trader Joe's has beautiful flowers and the prices are great! This is my first store to shop for flowers.

They usually have hydrangeas, tulips, baby breath, eucalyptus, and roses to name a few.

Trader Joe's is a great place to start your floral arranging shopping.

Whole Foods

My second go-to place to buy flowers is Whole Foods. Sometimes when I cannot find what I want at Trader Joe's I can almost always find it at Whole Foods.

The thing I like about Whole Foods is that their prices have come down some on flowers since Amazon purchased the company. I also like when they create bouquets like in the photo above.

As you can tell they have a large variety from sunflowers to daisies. During the spring they peonies that are so beautiful. Peonies are my favorite!

Grocery Stores

Just about any grocery store has flowers. We have a store called Publix that has a small section of flowers. But I believe Kroger, Hanniford, and Shaws has flowers to name a few.

I love buying grocery store flowers and filling this farmhouse flower vase DIY I made. Another great grocery store to buy flowers is Fresh Market.

Fresh Market

I am not sure what it is about Fresh Market but I love shopping for flowers there. The atmosphere is so relaxing and special. And their flower section is adorable.

Their flowers are higher in price but the quality is very good. Fresh Market is usually the bottom of my list to shop mainly because of the price. But if I cannot find what I am looking for then off to Fresh Market I go.

Local Nursery

Since we have been talking about the best places to buy flowers and the cheapest places to buy flowers let's don't forget your local nursery.

Where I live I love to go to our local nursery called Tallahassee Nurseries. Sometimes when I am looking for a good deal for flowers and I need many flowers I will shop here for the possibility of purchasing the plant in the pot.

You see it may be cheaper to buy the whole plant in the pot that is filled with flowers than to buy a bouquet at the store. After I cut the flowers we plant it or give it away.

The best part about buying the plant is after we plant it and it blooms again I have more flowers to put in my mason jar vase holder.
