VALENTINE’S TABLE DECOR IDEA
To begin let’s gather what you will need to create this table. Here is a checklist of what you will need:
- Centerpiece (handmade from pallets, chalk paint, and Martinelli’s apple juice jars)
- China or dinnerware
- Meringue kisses or macaroons
- Heart shape doilies
- Gold and pink Sharpie marker
- Crystal or glasses
Let’s break down each item even more with some tips and suggestions on how to acquire each piece.
Now let me encourage you to look through your dinnerware be it china or everyday pieces, silverware, stemware and so on. If you don’t have anything that fancies you then reach out to family and friends or go shopping. You have my permission to shop just don’t tell your hubby! Just kidding!
When I went through my stock, I found several springy looking pieces that my mother-in-law gave me long ago. Because I had pieces of each pattern, I decided to use both and mix and match for our Valentine’s table decor.
Now that I have my dinnerware selected then I focused on a centerpiece. That was easy for me because I already had this adorable farmhouse style piece that a friend made for me not long ago.
I went shopping for flowers and found just the right ones at Trader Joe’s but any grocery store will work when it comes to shopping for seasonal flowers.
If you would like to make this centerpiece, you can purchase the Martinelli’s apple juice jars HERE. I believe the rest is made from pallets and chalk paint.
VALENTINE’S FINISHING TOUCHES
Last for the finishing touches to this Valentine’s table decor idea. This is my favorite part because it is very inexpensive but looks adorable. I went to Amazon and found some small doilies. Then I took a gold and pink Sharpie and wrote love-related words on each doily. I wrote hug, xoxo, kiss and love on each one. It was the icing on the cake! If you know what I mean!
