SHERWIN WILLIAMS ALABASTER CABINETS
We're starting off with this dreamy kitchen in the home of Julie Warnock, from Julie Warnock Interiors.
Her cabinetry is painted in Sherwin Williams Alabaster White SW 7008 and her island Benjamin Moore 2124-40 Thundercloud Gray. We featured Julie's kitchen once before in our kitchen design ideas post along with other creative and beautiful kitchen designs.
KITCHEN CABINETS PAINTED ALABASTER WHITE
Chasitiy, over at Love Hurtts, has painted her cabinets in SW 7008 Alabaster White as well.
They pop right off that wall and look great paired with the brick backsplash.
White paint is timeless, but not all white paint is created equal. There's just something special about Sherwin Williams Alabaster White that looks great anywhere you paint it.
SHERWIN WILLIAMS PURE WHITE CABINETS
In the kitchen of Kylie, from Kylie M. Interiors, there is Pure White SW 7005 cabinetry with a stunning island painted in a bold SW 7076 Cyberspace paint by Sherwin Williams.
Sometimes a splash of a darker color can make white look ever so crisp.

Gray colors are very popular this year and grey is finding its way onto cabinets. Most sold gray cabinet colors are repose gray and mindful gray.
REPOSE GRAY CABINETS
We've shared Jackie's, from Finding Lovely, breathtaking kitchen before in our Sherwin Williams Repose Gray post.
When you choose a neutral paint color like repose gray SW7015, it is easy to add accents that take center stage.
The chunky beams and rustic floating shelves add great character to Jackie's kitchen.
Sherwin Williams Mindful Gray Cabinet
Another popular trendy color for kitchen cabinets is Mindful Gray SW 7016. This color is a little darker and richer than Repose gray so if you want more depth of grey tones then Mindful gray is your color.
Favorite Cabinet Paint Colors
While doing our research to find the most sold and popular cabinet paint colors we found a few personal favorites to share too.
SENSIBLE HUE PAINTED CABINETS
Sensible Hue SW 6198 is a tricky color. Depending on the lighting, this color can look gray, green, or blue.
It looks amazing in Krystal's, from Unapologetic Home, kitchen.
She has a rustic look going on with her wood island, so this gray-green color looks great.
SHERWIN WILLIAMS GRAY CUSTOM CABINET COLOR
Allie, from Mrs. DIY, gave her kitchen a makeover by painting her kitchen cabinets with a custom gray color from Sherwin Williams.
The blend for the custom color is in the picture above, so if you love Allie's cabinets, you can take this into your local Sherwin Williams and they will mix it up for you.
You might remember, not to long ago, we shared Allie's fireplace in our fireplace makeover post.
We're pretty smitten with her home.
SHERWIN WILLIAMS PEPPERCORN ISLAND
At Sarah Williams Home, she has a beautiful kitchen island that's painted a striking Peppercorn SW 7674 color.
It's great if you're looking for an accent color to add a darker color to the island if you have light-colored cabinets. Some trending Sherwin Williams accent colors are Smoky Blue and Pewter Green.
SHERWIN WILLIAMS OLIVE GROVE CABINETS
Ashley Beseda has painted her cabinetry since we last featured her in our farmhouse backsplash post.
She went from white cabinets to this beautiful rustic Olive Grove color, SW 7734, and it's stunning.
BENJAMIN MOORE OXFORD WHITE CABINETS
Did you know that if you find a color by another paint brand Sherwin Williams can mix it for you too? Yes, if you love a particular color like we love Rebecca's white kitchen all you have to do is tell Sherwin William staff and they will mix it up.
Our friend Rebecca, from House of Douglas, has her cabinets in a popular white color by Benjamin Moore. She has used Oxford White CC-30.
It makes her kitchen look dreamy. And speaking of dreamy you have to check out her Instagram which is so much fun to follow.
Another great white paint by Benjamin Moore is their Chantilly Lace. We featured cabinets that we painted for a client called, Best White Paint For Interior Walls For That Fresh Farmhouse Look.
After you pick out your cabinet paint color you might be thinking about all the other details that will polish your kitchen design look. For example cabinet hardware and new faucet.
These two things can update a kitchen makeover. I share how to choose the best faucet for your kitchen in another post that will help you pick on that will fit your design and serve your kitchen needs.

Painting over stained cabinets from1998. Want a bright but warm white and then I’d like a suggestion for a wall color… a slight taupe or .
cream that contrasts the cabinets just enough, but still keeps things neutral.
HELP ! Everything looks wrong when I get it home!
Linda McDonald says
It is challenging picking a paint color from a small swatch. Look at Alabaster for a bright warm white. Pick up four of the paint chips so you can tape them together to make a larger sample. Also, make sure to look at your color during the day and place it on something white. If it is touching another color it will take on that color and changes its appearance. I hope this helps and good luck!
